Note that some cards which were printed during this time are nonetheless not legal for play, like some hidden arsenal cards. The hits on this banlist is clearly an attempt to make battle phase effects/cards relevant again (tenpai incoming) and force decks to actually have a win condition/real end board instead of just generic boss monsters.
